Located approx. 20km off the coast from the Wakkanai Toyotomi area, Rebun Airport RJER provides great facilities and the ground crew are most helpful. Av gas may not be available, so best to confirm in advance. Commercial flights arriving a couple times daily during summer.
Mt Rishiri is breathtaking, the seafood delicious and various accommodation options available. Rebun Island is a 20min ferry ride, with the old airport no longer in service.
